SAES Heated Gas Purifiers

High Performance Gas Purifiers

GC50

Accurate analysis in gas chromatography is dependent upon the purity of the carrier gas, regardless of the type of sensor mounted on the GC. For trace gas analysis, high purity carrier gas is an absolute necessity for the GC spectrum to indicate the most minute, and often critical, fluctuations in purity.

The SAES Pure Gas GC50 is specifically designed for purifying carrier gases used in gas chromatography, as well as other analytical applications with critical carrier gas purity requirements. The GC50 improves carrier gas quality from 5 nines to 7 nines purity. It is so effective in removing gaseous impurities that the outlet concentration is typically below the sensitivity of most commercially available instrumentation.

  MonoTorr

Research has shown that gas purification can ensure consistent and repeatable process performance for semiconductor device manufacturing.
Purification isolates critical process areas from house gas distribution systems and protects against gas purity upsets and cross-contamination. As manufacturing
processes grow more demanding, gas system impurities must be reduced below one part per billion.

MonoTorr gas purification products were developed specifically for sub-ppb performance. These getter-based purifiers are preconditioned (activated) at our factory to allow immediate use. Its all-metal technology ensures that no impurities are added.

  Mono Torr PS4 High Flow

The PS4 MonoTorr High Flow purifier provides sub-ppb impurity removal in hydrogen, nitrogen and rare gases at flow rates up to 150 slpm. Unrivaled capabilities are packaged into a compact design engineered for reliability.
Continuous control and diagnostics are managed by the user friendly PLC.
A complete set of options is available to satisfy the most demanding operator and facility requirements.
The PS4 MonoTorr High Flow extends the point of use product family to
new levels and, like all SAES Pure Gas purifiers, has the backing of over
60 years of expertise in getter technologies by the SAES Getters Group.

  Mono Torr PS15

The PS15 Series MonoTorr gas purifiers, available for CDA and oxygen service, decrease hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen impurities to less than 1 ppb. The purification process is a catalytic oxidation of reducing species, namely CH4, NMHC (non-methane hydrocarbons), CO and H2.
If CO2 and/or H2O removal is required, then a purifier/dryer, such as the MicroTorr PS11-MC400, MC9000, or MCD9000 can be installed downstream.
The PS15 series is designed for continuous uninterrupted operation, with no consumable components. Under normal use, there is no need to ever replace or regenerate the purification column. Thus, there is no need for an end point detection device, allowing for simple installation and operation.
