Description
The DPC100 is designed to
generate differential pressures
between its two output ports to
allow calibration of differential
pressure gauges, transducers and
transmitters. Test gas, calibration
pressure range, and measurement
precision can be specified at the
time of purchase.
Calibration pressures are set using a potentiometer, and displayed on
a linearising LCD
display. The operator can select Normal or Reverse operation to apply
positive or
negative pressures, and also switch between Run and Cross-Port to allow
zeroing of the
calibrator and device under test.
Exceptionally stable applied pressure is achieved by controlling the
flow of gas across
an orifice, and applying the resultant differential pressure. This method
permits an
impressive 100:1 control range and, by limiting flow rate, prevents inadvertent
overpressure of the internal reference transducer or device under test.
